by: Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
(Dalawang daang maglahiwalay sa dilaw na kakahuyan)
And sorry I could not travel both
(At patawad hindi ko malakbay pareho)
And be one traveler, long I stood
(At sa paglalakbay matagal akong nakatayo)
And looked down one as far as I could
(At nakatingin sa isa ng malayo)
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
(Kung saan nakaliko ito sa maliliit na halaman sa loob ng kakahuyan)
Then took the other, as just as fair,
(At pinili ang isa na tama at pantay)
And having perhaps the better claim,
(At siguro'y mas mabuti ang pinili)
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
(Dahil ito'y madamo at karaniwan gamitin)
Though as for that the passing there
(Subalit sa pagpili sa daang magkahiwalay)
Had worn them really about the same
(Mapagtatantong sila ay magkahawig din pala.)
The painting is all about the two roads that is symbolizing a choices. I was inspired from the poem by Robert Frost. I used white cartolina, oil pastel and poster paint.
I can compare the meaning of the painting in my life, because i always making a decisions that would make me choose what is right for me, though sometimes I can't avoid some regrets in my choices but I know to myself that I didn't recklessly make a decision.
Its like a choice is part of the struggles to achieve our goal in life. We always think what is best for all of us, and i think that by making a decisions we must think the best choice we will take.
The translation method that I use is Combination Method because by using this method it is easy to translate the word.
